Susanne L. Ebel (nee Singer), 74, of Phillipsburg, NJ formerly of Middlesex, NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2009 in the Care Center of Lopatcong, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, Mrs. Ebel resided in Middlesex, NJ for 40 years before moving to Phillipsburg, NJ two years ago.
She was formerly employed as a Head Bookkeeper for Acme Markets of South Plainfield and Middlesex, NJ for 25 years, retiring in 1996. Mrs. Ebel was a former member of the Dunellen Presbyterian Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting ad travelling. Mrs. Ebel was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is the beloved wife of 31 years to the late Carl Ebel, Jr., devoted mother of Carl J. Ebel, Brian Ebel and wife Maryanne, Sharon Fillmore and husband Michael, and Steven Ebel, dear sister of the late Stanley W. Singer, Jr. and Joyce Pond, also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A service will be held at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ on Saturday at 10 AM.
Interment will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway, NJ.
The family will receive their friends on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
