Tozia Scrupski

Tozia Scrupski, 98, passed away peacefully March 3, 2010 at Raritan Health and Extended Care. Born in Nanticoke, PA, she resided in New Jersey, most recently of Westfield. Tozia was an assembler for the former Lockheed Electronics, North Plainfield for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Helen Roman Catholic Church, Westfield and its Woman’s Group and enjoyed gardening, baking and trips to Atlantic City.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1974, three brothers, Leonard, Edward and Henry Blockus and two sisters, Anna and Florence.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Thelma Blockus of Nanticoke, PA, three nieces, Barbara Takacs, Gina Soper and Susan Smereski and three nephews, Bruce Blockus, William Blockus of NJ and William Blockus PA.

Funeral services will begin Saturday, 8:30 am at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Rd., Middlesex, NJ followed by a 9:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Nanticoke, PA. Visitation hours will be Friday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
